Objective:
To
create a Kindergarten Treasure Box that will be kept at
home to store kindergarten keepsakes and books created at
school. Throughout
the school year,
your child will take home small books created in class.
Keep these in their Treasure Box.
By the end of our time together in Kindergarten,
your child will have quite a library of books that they
will treasure and read repeatedly and independently!
Directions:
Use
the provided box to create a Kindergarten Treasure Box.
Please feel free to assist your child.
You may decorate it by coloring it; painting it; or
covering it with construction paper, contact paper,
wallpaper, wrapping paper, tissue paper, or fabric.
Get creative! You may want to use stickers, beads,
sequins, gems, foam pieces, silk flowers, buttons,
feathers, or pom poms.
There are endless possibilities.
You are only limited by your imagination!
Due Date:
Kindergarten
Treasure Boxes should be completed by Monday, August 31,
and returned to school to share on or before that day.
This will be your child’s first opportunity to
sit in front of the class and share their family project
as well as talk about their families and who helped.
