Objective:  To decorate a kite.

Directions:  You will be provided with a blank kite template for this project.  Cut out the kite.  Then, as a family, work to turn this dull white kite into a beautiful kite with a design of your choice and a long patterned tail.  Be creative and decorate your kite.  You can use tissue paper, paint, markers, crayons, streamers, yarn, etc. 

Due Date:  Kites should be completed by Tuesday, April 13, and returned to school to share on or before that day.  Children will present their kite to the class and talk to the class about how their family worked together to design it.  All kites will be put on display.
